"I'm not sure it's a good idea to go from a 30 year old cooker to a brand new one. My new one just seems like design over function. The grill tray doesn't attach easily and you have to remove a heat shield thing every time you want to use the grill. You also don't get a handle with the grill pan and I have tried to find out about buying a spare and no one could be bothered to get back to me! One of the burner tops is already marked but I do like the pan supports, they are very sturdy. The oven does cook evenly, Pizza comes out well, evenly cooked. I don't like the timer very much as you don't seem to be able to leave the countdown display on. I am hoping that with more time I will get used to it but I do regret taking our old one to the tip."

"It's a good looking gas cooker. Well designed and well built.
The only issue I have come across right now, is that the lowest flame setting isn't low enough for a simmer. The ovens should have a light to indicate when the temperature/gas mark has been reached.
Other than that, it is good and easy to use."

"had mine for a few years now and went a few months without cooker while looking for 'perfect' gas cooker without fold down glass.
Top oven goes out almost every time I light it, - I just made a special effort to make sure it lit, go back 10 mins later to find cold roll !
Insulation between ovens is rubbish/non-existent. Partner has JL cooker and heat hardly dispenses to warm plates in top oven, plates stay more or less cold unless bottom oven really hot and plates are in top for ages. Mine, plates get dangerously hot in v short time. WASTE OF HEAT/GAS/ENERGY.
Wok burner too big - hardly ever use, and cld do with two of the smaller size burners as the front right is the one I almost always use.
Also, grill design is rubbish - can't fit dishes in to warm or cook without taking pan out and can't adjust height of pan.
Right - back to see if my roll has warmed this time!! too hot"

"Cooker has been in use for just under two months. Replaced an aged 8 ring gas range. So far, we haven't been disappointed. Meat roasts retain their moisture well, with oven cooking times in line with what we would expect. Cleaning is made easy for oven & grill cavities with wide opening doors. There is an added bonus, the inner glass panels are easily removed for cleaning, so the doors don't get too grotty with use! The only niggle has been the lack of a grill pan handle, although the sliding mechanism is quite slick."
