"Choose this one because it is only one of a handful of dual fuel cookers that don't have a lid over the gas hob. Gas hob is fab although the supplied wok stand and small pan stand tarnish easily, and will not clean. Main oven takes a while to heat up and cooking times are longer probably because it isn't that easy to set the dial accurately to a specific temperature. Main oven only works if you set the time on the clock which is a bit annoying if you switch it off at the wall. Main oven fan remains on for a while even after it is has been switched off to help cool it down quicker, we tend to switch it off at the wall to prevent it consuming anymore power after cooking. Grill only has half or full settings i.e. no temperature setting which means it can be a little fierce even on half setting. Can’t comment on oven cleaning yet, but hob cleans easily with stainless steel cleaner."

"We replaced the old cooker with a black SMEG concert free standing cooker because it has the right width, double oven and cast iron plates (for the burners). Even we are a small family, it is nice to have a nice roast where you can cook all your dishes at once.
The price seems a bit more expensive than other cooker, however in my opinion it is worth it.
Its sleek and smart look adds a touch to our kitchen. So far so good, we are very impressed with the purchase.
The instructions for the clock was slightly ambiguous, but eventually we managed to work it out.
Also, I would suggest to clean the ovens and all trays with a dump cloth before using them as some metallic dust (from factory) was left.
The stainless steel at the top is very good quality so I am hoping that with use it will not deteriorate / leave stains as it usually happens with other appliances."

"I was miserable at having to scrap my old fatihful cooker (20 years is a long time!), but this replacement is a revelation. It does everything the old one did, with the addition of the instant heat from the gas hob. Cakes are not getting burnt because the ovens are accurate in their temperature and the heat is even. We haven't tried out the automatic timer yet, buthave every confidence that it will perform well."

"I am really pleased with the cooker. After having purchased an item that I was not happy with, it was such a pleasure to come home and find my Smeg cooker fitted and ready for use. I do a lot of baking and am really pleased with the results of this cooker. I am so glad that the other item was faulty!!"

"I love this cooker. I had a few teething problems (thermostats wired to wrong ovens) but the engineer came out quickly and sorted that.
Christmas cake perfect, no more burnt pans as the gas is so responsive (previously had electric hob).
Oh... and it looks great too!

"We wanted to buy a new cooker for our cottage, something that looked smart yet a bit like a range cooker. My wife wanted a gas hob, but we can only get LPG. Came across this cooker and got it for a reasonable price. Absolutely delighted with the build quality, even came with LPG kit as standard. Looks great and works really well, gas hobs have a built in safety feature so you can't accidentally leave the gas on. Would recommend."
