"I expect a cooker of the price to last more than 12 months. We started having issues with it tripping the electric then my toddler broke one of the knobs so ring stayed on we finally got it off and now it won’t work at all. My last cooker was half the price and last 15 years"

"Lovely looking cooker but have had so many problems with it due to poor quality components and construction. At one point it caught fire as the contacts under the hob were fraid and overheated. Was probably the last one out of the factory on a friday night....
Now the oven has stopped working. It could be the switch or the thermostat or the element but we've decided enough is enough and we've bought a hotpoint."

"This is a great cooker albeit after a few teething problems. After about two months the digital clock went haywire and the main oven seal came loose, however after contacting smeg under the gurantee an engineer came out within days and replace the affected parts.
All this aside, great consitency of heat and easy to use."
