"This wasn't the hob I'd picked, but as the one I had picked was out of stock Boots VERY kindly upgraded me to this one. It's lovely, very easy to keep clean and looks superb. My only niggle is the alarm that goes off if an item is placed on the hob if it's not switched on. I don't have a huge amount of work surface and would like sometimes to put my recently drained pans onto the areas that are not hot. I'm sure you must be able to switch the alarm off, but that would entail reading the book!! Doesn't heat up very quickly - but I've been spoiled by having an induction hob at the rental property."
