"Although you can reduce the number of alarm beeps to a reasonable 3, if the power is shut off at the socket (which we do with all sockets when we are away for a weeked or longer) when turned on again the factory setting of 30(!) beeps returns and has to be reset. You can turn off the clock. This was the most basic mw I could find in this size, but still has features I will never use. Otherwise, works well, easily, is a great size, easy to clean!"
