"Thin easily scratched stainless steel. Good cast iron hob pan holding sections BUT the design, knob quality and knob position are APPALLING. Far too easy to touch the knobs with a hot pan which causes them to met and disfigure. If in such a daft place why oh why are the knobs not more resilient?
It is a cheap unit which works ok but does NOT turn down low enough to simmer quietly.
The connecting pipe is in exactly the wrong place for an oven to fit comfortably beneath. Why did Stoves get it SO wrong? Does anyone know of alternative knobs which DON'T melt in a millisecond?

"the hob is hard to use and with only using the hob once two of the controls buttons have started to melt this must be a health and safety issue"

"We have only had this product installed for less than a week and two of the control knobs have melted, surely these need to be able to stand heat!!"

"fits nicely on the work surface it looks good and its not to difficult to keep clean ,I just give it a wipe over after each
time I use it.it works as it should apart from just one of the burners that keeps going out and I have to keep pressing the knob and holding it down for a very long time compared to all the other burners . "
