"I wanted a cooker to replace my cannon and after reading the reviews chose this model.
However, I regret this decision as there are a few things that are not good. The burners make a loud noise, the supports move when stirring a pan, and the grill is rubbish, it takes ages to toast bread and then does so unevenly and the first few times I used it the smell was terrible. Don't recommend this model and certainly not for the price. Wish I has just bought a basic cheaper model."

"After a lot of research checking the pros and cons of every other 60cm black freestanding gas cooker,my vote had to go to the solidly built Hotpoint Hug61k.Its an upgrade from a Cannon Chesterfield for me,being virtually the same model,as Hotpoint and Cannon are both under the same banner now,hence I knew the build was good,the Hug 61k has an improved hob upgrade,the single (easily washed) hob supports are much more stable and solid than the Cannon.Its an eye catching beast and looks great in my modest kitchen,only time will tell if my praise is justified,so fingers crossed.In all a good buy at a reasonable price."

"Saw this model in another shop so I knew what I was buying, no disappointment what so ever, looks fantastic in my kitchen, only one negative that I have is the rubber seal on the top oven/grill pops out quite frequently but all you need to do is pop it back in again but that I can live with so overall marks 9/10"
