"I hate the slide controls, I can never find the right number for what I want to heat and I often find that if I slide down from a high heat no matter to what number when I look again the heat has put itself at A.
I wish I had bought a hob with nob controls.

"This hob was christened 'the Dark Star' when it arrived in our kitchen.on Cristmas Eve. Although large, it is light in weight and easy to install. The large flat surface area gives plenty of room for pans and it's very easy to clean. I like the touch controls very much: there is a main on/off switch, which turns off everything, and the individual hotplate controls are sensitive and intuitive to use. You can cook as gently and evenly as you wish on every hotplate, and there is a an Automatic boost on every plate to get it up to temperature quickly. It probably isn't as quick as an induction hob, but it doesn't have the heavy power requirements of an induction hob of the same size.
Aftr three weeks of use, I like this hob very much, it cooks beautifully. I'm hoping that being AEG it will also be reliable and long lasting.
