"Really happy with my new hob which looks good & cooks well. Only slight irritation is the fact that it seems to take quite a few seconds longer to ignite properly than my old one but just a matter of getting used to it."

"Got this hob to match the Belling oven I bought with It. just like the oven its been great, easy to keep Clean. works like it should, I also like that the knobs have 2 flats on them which make they easy turn with wet Hands and you can check they are off at a glance. "

"Had this hob a little over a year now and have recently encountered an issue with the spark generator. When lighting the hob one day the spark generator simply would not stop sparking, only way to stop this was to turn off the main electric supply to the hob. I have contacted Belling direct and they cannot find a reference for a replacement part, I was given a number of their service repairs department who quoted a fixed price close to the value of a new hob to come a look and repair if possible. Not impressed having to use a manual lighter in the meantime until I can locate a replacement part or entire hob!"

"Appearance whern installed is good.The Stainless Steel Gets marked easily as does any stainless steel product but a bit of ASTONISH Stainless Cleaner on a Sheet of kitchen roll soon solves that. The Pan supports look fragile but are quite firm. Ignites ok but not the fastest. Wife says that the burners are ok for heat.The pressed stainless steel platform is not of a really heavy gauge and is flexy he which the installing gas fitter said is quite common hence when pulled down the edges do not all sit tightly onto the worktop.I would recommend a good layer of appropriate colour silicone to suit bthe work top being used between the supplied seal and the edge of the metal to seal any gap . That is untill the manufactures supply a few more clamps underneath or strengthen the pressing."
