"I chose this product for its safety features, principally the supporting grill. With the usual crossbar type there is a tendency for saucepans to slide off at an angle of 45 degrees. With the Belling design this is much less likely. There is also a safety cutout in the event that the flame blows out. The size of the gas rings is well chosen to supply a good range of temperatures from simmering to boiling and frying. The ignition is from a power electricity supply and works well to give multiple sparks to ensure lighting. The presentation is smart. I think it was a good choice. "
