"We have just bought this appliance and immediately discovered that is does suit our needs.
There is no way to avoid the drying cycle, even if the drying setting is on 0 !
You can select a program without drying, but then you get only low temperatures and low spinning effect.
I wanted to have the option to dry certain items as needed, but at my leisure, as I do not want to spend energy on drying all my washing.
Now we have to sit and wait to stop the program manually if we want to avoid the drying.
This should be made very clear in the basic online specification as this for me is a major flaw."

"Unable to stop dryer and open door to check condition of clothes being dried. Articles have to stay in machine for a minimum of 40 mins . Satisfactory in every other way ."

"The machine is a lot louder than the other reviews made it out to be and the dryer really isn't worth paying the extra for. My old standalone indesit dryer would dry items really quickly however with this washer dryer you can attempt to dry things for an hour only to find them soaking wet when the cycle is finished. The same happens on the cupboard dry setting. However as a washer it is great, sufficient cleaning power and doesn't crease garments beyond recognition - great for someone who hates to iron like me! It has a brilliant range of programmes and is easy to use."
