Beautifully designed hob

"Beautifully designed hob and works wonderfully.

My only very small gripe is that the 'rings" aren't big enough for my largest saucepans, but then nobody makes a hob for extra large saucepans!

Highly recommend this hob."

Looks fab, great price

"Bought this hob for my kitchen re fit to replace an ugly cheap version. I'm no cook so didnt want to spend too much however wanted a brand I could trust.

This appliance looks great, really easy to use and heats up super fast. As it's got touch screen controls I think its going to be easy to cleans with no food sticking to dials etc.

Only gave it 4 stars for Build Quality as I had to get my electrician back as only one half of the hob was heated. This was easily fixed, 'internal links' was the issue. No idea what that means but apparently this is something that he does when installing cheaper brands and was surprised that he had to do it for a Samsung one. Just something to be aware of, don't let it put you off, just be aware so you don't have to get the installer back in!"

Useless product and useless after sales

"Purchased this hob approx 14 months ago. Started going wrong after 12 months. Basically the child lock will not turn off rendering the hob unusable. Very occasionally it will work but is so hit and miss you can't rely on using the hob to cook with.

Phoned Samsung only to have some numpty keep telling me how to operate the hob and child lock even though I told him I have been cooking on it for a year.

Basically told me that the child lock being permanently on is not a manufacturers defect and any repair will be chargeable.

Although any product can go wrong and that's fine, it's how manufacturers treat you when it does go wrong that's important. Thoroughly disgusted with Samsung's attitude, in fact the worse customer service I have ever come across.

Bottom line, going to bin a £230.00 14 month old hob next week and replace it with another brand."

great product and great service

"thanks again AO great video and tech info spot on when choosing hob to fit existing recess in worktop. have already commented on purchase but when installation electrician set up product had problem with wiring. You put me straight onto Samsung who immediately advised re problem. This was great for electrician. As samsung use non british style set up might be useful if they added an advice sheet to help with this, otherwise fantastic service once again.... For anyone buying this note you need to press the lock and on keys for a couple of secs to start the hob... good safety device but caught me out at first."
