"replacement for another samsung hob that cracked, I carried on using it for some time until the crack reached the hob circle,I like the metal surround on this version and hope it makes it more durable"

"I bought this to replace a gas hob and I'm still getting familiar with the way it performs. It does seem slower than gas to heat up initially, but it's great for simmering by turning the cooking zone off and using the residual heat. I like the fact that it has a lock function so that its safe from little fingers.
Only gripe:the power switches on and off during cooking and at first I thought this was a fault because it's not referred to in the users guide except in the Troubleshooting section where it states that this is a normal function. I feel this shoud be mentoned in the Hob Use section of the guide"

"Really pleased with ao service. Delivery was on time and fitters worked quickly. Appliance looks good and works well. Fast heat up time.
Only downside is the heat build up in the stainless surround. Can get very hot"
"This is our second ceramic hob of this model and we are just as pleased second time around. The touch controls are not quite as sensitive as before, but this is no bad thing."
