"I’ve never cooked on an electric hob before, always used gas BUT I love my new Samsung ceramic hob. I have found the rings cook much more evenly than gas. Great that there are 9 heat settings per ring & the lock function is excellent, no ring can be accidentally turned on. Cleans very easily & well. A definite 5 ?? from me. "

"Control panel had a mind of its own and was turning itself off. After 2 visits from an engineer he revealed that Samsung had a problem with this hob. It did not like working when the cooker was on. Condensation was affecting the control panel. Apparantly the problem had been solved. Not in my case. A third visit came with a new control panel and hopefully it is be fixed. Fingers crossed"

"Has lock to prevent ring coming on by accident. Heats up very quickly and cools down equally quickly. Happy with it so far"
