"I bought this hob as a replacement for my old electric plate hob as the Samsung electric hob looked very sleek and easy clean.
When the electrician came round to take out the old and fit the new one, there was a problem as the hole in my work surface was too large for the new Samsung hob. I have therefore had to have a new worktop fitted and the hole cut to size for the new hob. However, this has resulted in a superb new look for my kitchen - new worktop and new sleek hob!
The hob heats up very quickly - so much faster than my old one. It takes quite a while to cool down, but a' H' in the display tells you that it is still hot. The controls are very easy to use, and the little tunes it plays, ie when you switch it on etc, are very amusing. I haven't yet had anything boil over on the hob, but understand the heat cuts out should this happen. I have also had to buy some ceramic hob cleaner (recommended) as certain other cleaners are not recommended for this type of hob. The lock feature would be useful if there are young children around.
All-in-all, a very modern looking, sleek appliance that I would recommend to anyone. Oh, and delivery was very quick from Appliances Online."
