"Very happy overall. A definite improvement in picture quality over our previous TV. Took a few days to decide on which picture format we preferred. As with most modern vehicles and appliances, there are a lot of technical aspects we will never use and we are too old for gaming."
"Have been using for a few days, and TV has great picture quality for movies / TV shows. Have yet to test with video games"
"Great TV. Cant go wrong with an LG OLED Panel"
"Great picture which can be seen from all angles. Can adjust the sound and picture depending on what you're watching. Easy to access streaming platforms too. We have the same tv in 42" size which we decided to move upstairs and get a larger tv for the living room."

This is the 2023 version of LG's C series - as such, it cost a third less than the 2024 version, which I consider a great bargain.
It's a good looking TV, with a thin bezel and a solid, stable stand. The display and sound are both brilliant, at least once you've finished working your way through the many, many options.
But it does have its limitations. The display is bright, but the screen is quite reflective. That's fine at night, not so great in the day. I had hoped for better (my fault for looking at so many models by so many companies that I forgot which one offered what!)
The big problem is the menu system. First off, there are a huge amount of adjustments you could make. Theoretically, you could change one thing, try it out, and move on to the next. You could also grow old and die before you got the display properly optimised.
And then there's trying to find something to watch. I found the menu system pretty opaque. In fact, I spent a good 15 minutes trying to get it to tell me where I could watch Dune pt 2 without paying extra for it. I gave up. Checked on my computer and found the information I needed in 15 seconds.
There is a fix - get a Roku or similar. All is now right in my world and I love my TV again.
Except for one thing - I've had it just over a month, and it's suddenly started telling me that the voice recognition system isn't available. I'm hoping I've accidentally changed a setting or something, but I don't remember doing any such thing.

"This is my first OLED TV, and I chose it because it supports the Dolby Vision HDR standard, which is used by Apple TV, Disney Plus, Netflix and 4K Blurays. The unpacking process is a little unnerving, because the screen is ultra thin, but the instructions are clear, although it needs 2 people. Once in place, the images it produces are stunning, especially with HDR content, although SDR content is excellent, too. I’m currently rewatching my favourite movies and enjoying them all over again. This is my first LG TV, and I highly recommend it. "
