"Love my new tumble dryer! My other one broke just before Christmas and I was apprehensive about going from a condenser to heat pump but it’s great. It looks good, is quiet and the drum is a good size even though the unit itself if slightly smaller than my old one. It does take longer to dry, but as it’s so quiet it doesn’t matter to me personally. The light is a great touch and I am really impressed with the double filter and how easy it is to use. I do admit the water tank could be bigger but again that’s preference and remembering to empty it after every load. The service was quick and easy, the delivery men were great and on time. I can’t comment on the energy saving aspect as I’ve only had it a couple of weeks and haven’t been keeping tabs on the energy usage but I am happy to believe my bills will be less than with my previous dryer."
"Very impressed with this product. We researched what the pros are with a heat pump dryer and they are definitely living up to the claims, especially the running costs in electricity. One main point is that you need to let the selected cycles complete without interruption, or you won’t get the best results. This then highlights the only real drawback with these products, as the cycles can take 2-3 times longer than a traditional tumble dryer. If you have big family and want to dry 4-5 loads a day, this may not be the best choice."
"Quiet, easy to use and good on electricity consumption. "
"This was not the original tumble dryer I wanted. The reason I decided to go with it in the end was because of the depth. It fits perfectly under the worktop and doesn't stick out at all.
I'd read that heat pump dryers take a lot longer than other types to dry but to be honest I haven't really noticed a difference. My old one was so inefficient and took ages anyway. There are loads of settings for drying different types of clothes. I've only used 3 so far and am really happy with them. Nothing had shrunk so far amd everything has come out dry. I'm really happy that I decided to choose this dryer especially considering it was at the cheaper end for a heat pump model. Energy wise I don't really know if it's cheaper to run as I don't know how much energy my old tumble dryer used. There are only 2 of us so 8kg is perfect for us. You may want a bigger drum if you have a larger household. I have nothing negative to say about it and I would happily recommend it.
