"Great looking retro style, but sadly it’s style over substance.
It has a significantly smaller fridge freezer, particularly the freezer which has the smallest drawer units I’ve seen.
For a not insignificant cost, it’s not a frost free freezer which will need defrosting 1-2 times per year, and beads of water or ice form on the back wall of the fridge.
Even more shocking is that, on the day of delivery, having removed the protective film and wiped it down with a soft soapy cloth, later noticed what I thought was a speck of dirt on the fridge door, to find a tiny speck of the enamel had come off already, and subsequently found a scratch in the enamel to the right of this. It has not hit anything, so not happy. This was not caused by the careful AO.com delivery guys.
Finally, had trouble registering on manufacturer website for 2 year warranty, as it doesn’t locate address from postcode, so had to call to activate warranty and reported issue with door should it continue to get worst."
"Stunning retro design, I’ve just moved and it has definitely bought to life a dull kitchen! The duck egg blue is tasteful with chrome finish. Inside the interior light and fixtures have a very subtle blue hue which I love. The doors are soft close and the unit is silent. The compartments are large. I had wanted a 50/50 but loved the look of this so much I got the 70/30, I’m not disappointed. The freezer has 3 drawers, different depths but there is plenty of freezy space. It’s a wow from me!"
"The fridge freezer looks great. The fridge is spacious but the salad draw is a little small. The freezer section is also a little small but it is described as a 70/30 split so one may say that is to be expected. (Other sites describe the same fridge freezer as 60/40 but that would best describe the door split and not the volume.) It is surprising that a modern fridge freezer is not frost free but for the price that is to be expected. With care and proper use that should not be an issue."
