Please read these product terms and conditions carefully as they set out the terms under which Boots Kitchen Appliances, (operated by DRL Ltd, trading as Boots Kitchen Appliances) makes the products available to you ("Product Terms"). You as the customer will transact with DRL Limited.
The prices payable for the items that you order are clearly set out on the web site. All prices are expressed inclusive of any VAT payable. The price of the items does not include the delivery charge. The standard delivery charge is £19.99* for mainland UK. Prices can change and we always bring you the latest prices as quickly as possible.
*Please note that there is an additional charge of £9.99 for deliveries made on a Saturday and Sunday, £14.99 for next day and £6.99 for rapid deliveries (available in mainland UK only).
2.1 It is important to note that the product dimensions do not include any protruding features such as, controls and handles etc. Product dimensions represent the casing of the appliance only.
2.2 Whilst we try to be as accurate as possible, all sizes, weights and measurements quoted on this website are approximate.
2.3 Images of the products shown on this website are for illustrative purposes only. We have made every effort to display all product colours accurately. However we cannot guarantee that the image displayed on your monitor will accurately reflect the true colour of the product delivered to you. Please be aware that colours may differ between manufacturers.
2.4 Whilst every effort has been made to ensure that product specifications are correct on this website due to continual product development through research & design specifications may change without notice.
The delivery date chosen by you will be the actual delivery date unless we are advised otherwise by our suppliers/couriers. If for any reason beyond our reasonable control, we are unable to supply a particular item, we will notify you as soon as possible offering you an alternative appliance/date or a full refund. We do use third party couriers for Northern Ireland, in which case the chosen date is when the delivery will happen into the third party courier.
4.1 The steps required to create the contract between you and us are as follows:

5.1 Delivery will be made to the address specified by you. Please note that our standard delivery of products is within mainland UK, including the Isle of Wight.* Our courier will make all deliveries to you. If you order and specify items with different delivery dates, we will ship them separately and you will be charged a delivery charge each time. The cost for delivery is £19.99 within the UK regardless of the number of items delivered, on one particular date.
5.2 There is an additional charge of £9.99 for deliveries made on a Saturday or Sunday (Please note, this service is only available to UK mainland postcodes).* Surcharges may apply for special deliveries where there are access restrictions. If you are not at home for a pre-arranged delivery then we reserve the right to charge you £19.99 to redeliver your order.
We do use third party couriers for Northern Ireland in which case the chosen date is when the delivery will happen into the third party courier. You will then be contacted by the courier to arrange the final delivery to your property.
5.3 After your delivery, we advise you to check the goods and inform us of any obvious cosmetic damage. If there is any noticeable damage to the goods, please advise us as soon as possible by calling us on 0844 879 3483.
5.4 Delivery of appliances to the property (in particular large or heavy items) will be dependent on sufficient access to your property/room. Any steps up or down with no lift access, narrow entrances, turns on stairways, scaffolding are some reasons that could restrict delivery.
The reasons that could restrict delivery are not exhaustive and will be assessed at the point of delivery by the delivery crew. In the event of an access issue we will offer delivery to the nearest point of the same property (i.e. the bottom of the stairs, a garage)
In the event of an unsuccessful delivery the order will be cancelled and a full refund issued
5.5 Free delivery is only available on appliances highlighted as ‘Free Delivery’. We reserve the right to remove this promotion at any point, without notice and without reason. There is no cash alternative to this offer. This offer applies to Standard Delivery only. Charges still apply for all other premium delivery services, including; Next Day Delivery, Rapid Delivery, Weekend Delivery. All other terms and conditions apply.
Please note: The current offer on Boots.com of free delivery for orders over £45 does not apply to large kitchen appliance orders
We recommend that where required you book any fitters for the day after delivery. Deliveries to commercial properties could void your warranty.
* Unfortunately we’re unable to deliver to Mainland Ireland, the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Channel Island or the Isle of Man.
There is an additional charge of £14.99 for next day deliveries. Next day delivery is available on selected products only. We will endeavour to get your appliances to you the next day. This service is available for mainland UK deliveries only. When this is not possible a suitable alternative delivery date will be offered and any additional next day delivery charges you have paid will be refunded. All other Terms and Conditions apply, including those for additional services.
7.1 There is an additional charge of £6.99 for this service. Rapid delivery is available on selected products only. We will endeavour to get your appliances to you within two days of placing your order.
7.2 When this is not possible a suitable alternative delivery date will be offered and the £6.99 Rapid delivery charge will be refunded. This service is available for mainland UK deliveries only. All other Terms and Conditions apply, including those for additional services.
8.1 You can request that our delivery team connect your freestanding washing machine, washer dryer or dishwasher. This must be done at the point of order and a charge* will be made for each item.
8.2 Connection can be carried out to an existing standard domestic appliance water connection situated within one metre of the appliances location and to a suitable existing 13 amp socket within reach of the appliance’s power lead. Included in the connection will be the removal of transit brackets and a basic test of the appliance.
The delivery team will be unable to connect your new appliance if:
* Connection of a freestanding washing machine, washer dryer or dishwasher to suitable existing plumbing and plug socket is £19.99 per item.
* We reserve the right to retain the connection charge if connection fails for any of the reasons mentioned above.
Please note, this service is only available in mainland UK.
9.1 You can request that our delivery team collect and recycle your old appliance. This must be done at the point of order and a charge will be made for each item**.
9.2 All goods for collection and recycling must be disconnected from all water, electrical and gas supply in advance of the goods being removed and free from any housing units. All appliances should be emptied and, in the case of refrigeration, products defrosted. Only like for like appliances can be collected for recycling.
9.3 Collected goods for recycling are deemed to have zero value.
9.4 We only charge for the cost of transporting your appliance for recycling. Alternatively if you wish to return your appliance to us with no charge then this can be accepted at our distributor’s premises;

10.1 If you wish to cancel your order before your planned delivery date you will receive a full refund. Under the Distance Selling Regulations (DSR) where the goods have been delivered to you, you must inform us of your decision to cancel within seven working days from one day after the date of delivery, providing the goods are unused and in perfect condition.
10.2 We reserve the right to claim for any damage to the appliance(s) that may have occurred whilst the goods have been in your possession, if necessary. This does not affect your statutory rights.
11.1 Under the Distance Selling Regulations (DSR) where the goods have been delivered to you, must inform us of your decision to cancel within seven working days from one day after the date of delivery, providing the goods are unused and in perfect condition. If you decide to return your goods to us you are required to return the goods to us, at your expense as soon as possible. If you want to return the goods to us yourself, in accordance with your contract, you are required to take reasonable care of the product to ensure that the goods are not damaged in transit. If you do not exercise reasonable care and the goods are damaged, a claim may be made against you for a breach of this statutory duty.
11.2 If you are unable/unwilling to return the goods to us we can arrange this for you at a charge of £49.99*.
11.3 If you wish us to arrange the return of an item within seven working days of receiving your delivery, please call the customer help line (0844 879 3483) and advise a member of our team that you wish us to collect the product and the reason for return. We will then organise for the goods to be collected by our courier.
11.4 Refunds can only be made by the same method used for purchase.
* £49.99 reflects the actual cost of collection
12.1 If, after the goods have been fitted, you find a fault; we reserve the right to request the following steps are complied with:
12.2 The Company shall not be liable for the goods if you continue to use the goods after giving such notice to the Company; or alter or repair the goods without the written consent of the Company.

13.1 You can pay with any Maestro, Delta, MasterCard, American Express or Visa card. Your payment card details will be encrypted to minimise the possibility of unauthorised access or disclosure. Authority for payment must be given at the time of order. It may be necessary to re-confirm your security number for data protection reasons.
13.2 We accept internet orders only from Web browsers that permit communication through Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology, for example, 3.0 version or higher of Explorer and versions 3.02 or higher of Netscape. This means you cannot inadvertently place an order through an unsecured connection.
13.3 We also offer periodical promotions to enable you to buy the products and pay for them at a later date. The full terms and conditions for these promotions will be supplied to you prior to any goods being shipped. You will be asked to sign and return a form to confirm you have received and agree to these terms.
14.1 Subject to clause 12.2 if either of us fails to comply with these Terms, neither of us shall be responsible for any losses that the other suffers as a result, except for those losses which are a foreseeable consequence of the failure to comply with these Terms.

14.3 The Company shall not be liable for any losses which arise as a result of an act, omission, breach or otherwise of a party not being the Company
