Anti Bacterial Protection This is an anti bacterial coating which is on the inside of the appliance, helping to eliminate the build up of mould and odours, a hygienic and safe feature which is great in between cleaning your freezer

Built in - Integrated This type of freezer is built into and supported by kitchen units, a built in – integrated model will not change the current appearance of your kitchen
Built Under A built under freezer can be built underneath standard sized kitchen units

Digital Display A clear display on the front of the appliance which shows the current temperature. This is great for making sure that your frozen foods are being kept at the correct temperature

Energy Efficiency The higher the energy rating the more efficient that the freezer will be. Energy efficient freezers are rated at A and above
Energy Rating The rating given to a freezer based on its energy efficiency, the current highest energy rating for a freezer is A++
Energy Recommended These models have been recommended by the Energy Saving Trust and are recognised as being more energy efficient than other models

Fast Freeze Compartment This section inside the freezer is brilliant for freezing items more quickly then in other areas of the freezer
Fast Freezing A fast freezing feature rapidly reduces the temperature of any new food as soon as it is added to the appliance
Freestanding This type of freezer does not need to be built into or supported by kitchen units. They can stand alone or slot in between kitchen units
Frost Free Freezer A frost free freezer passes cold air constantly around the appliance to prevent the build up of ice and frost
Freezer Capacity This is the amount of internal space that the freezer has and is measured in litres, the greater the capacity the more frozen items you will be able to store

Interior Light When the freezer door is open a light will be on inside the appliance, great when trying to locate your foods

Noise Level (dB) This is how loud the freezer is, as it is working hard for 24 hours a day a quieter model is better for less intrusion on your daily routine

Open Door Alert If you leave the freezer door open for too long, or by accident then an alarm will sound to alert you that the door needs to be closed

Reversible Door A reversible door on your freezer gives you the ability to have the hinge on the left and the right hand side of the appliance. This feature gives you great flexibility and more options on where to position your freezer

Super Fast Freezing A super fast freezing feature allows food to be frozen quicker, preserving natural goodness and not letting foods thaw prematurely
