"Before this machine we had purchased a washer dryer from another manufacturer and soon realised that it lacked crucial cycles like (eg. delicates, synthetic). In addition to that it ruined some of the materials.
So after that experience going for a dedicated washing machine was our next choice and have decided with this Zanussi model as it had all of the needed washing cycles.
So far so good. We have no complaints about the build quality or how it handles the washing.
The only downside is that the manufacturer only offers 1 year warranty by default (with extended paid option) whereas other manufacturers offer 2 and sometimes even 5 years warranties."
"Our last Zanussi machine lasted over 15 years. We considered other makes but the flexibility of time of wash on a variety of programmes was an important feature. It is very quiet and stable even when spinning a few items and the size of the drum which is bigger than our old one is really useful. It washes and spins efficiently. Easy to select programmes and operate."

"Mediocre. wash is decent. Spin is OK providing it's not a full load, so a false economy. My biggest bugbear is that it is soooo slow!!! my god... 3 hours for a basic wash that took 1.5 hours in my old machine is taking the mick a bit.. It's noisy as hell and the cats vacate the house whenever it goes on... I probably wouldn't buy it again and I preferred my old Hotpoint much more. Shame you can't try before you buy with these things...

"Overall good washing machine. Spin cycle is quite noisy. I prefer my old hotpoint one- but they seemed to break after two years so time will tell with this one!"
