"AVOID THIS UNIT. It simply does not work as a cooker hood.
We have had problems with this unit since we purchased it in April 2022; we did not install it until July (no one's fault as we were waiting for a new splashback). Once our electrician installed it, it became immediately apparent that it had two fatal flaws.
Firstly the touch controls don't work. The Hoover engineer who visited said it was because the panel needs to be perfectly clean to detect. It is not practical given the device is a cooker hood, and cleaning it between touches may be too sensitive for a device designed to go above pans cooking.
Secondly, the device only has a single speed setting; we call it "Hurricane!". We wanted a device for a Kitchen Diner and being unable to talk, let alone hear yourself think in the same room when it's on what is labelled as "Low", ruins that whole aesthetic."

"Product in general is very good. Im writing this review after two week of experience with the hood.
Why 2 stars than - touch buttons not working all the time as they have too. Once i spend 30 min to try to switch ON light and i give up.
Also hood not switching ON or OFF from the first time. You can really get very quickly upset.!
Old one which we have wasn't so good as this but at list you can started or stop when you want :)

"Great product. Easy to install as a DIY project with the electrics checked by a professional.
All the brackets screws etc are supplied and the instructions are certainly easy to understand

"Looks very stylish, but the buttons are a little slow to respond. You sometimes have to press a few times before it responds.
Gets covered in fingerprints very quickly! But easy to wipe off.
My electrician had a bit of a nightmare with the chimney part. It was too long and had to be cut down. We have standard height ceilings and the hood was as low as it could go (according to instructions), yet the chimney part was still too big!"
"We are having our kitchen refitted and the company supplying all the stuff sent they’re own brand of hood.After it was fitted the pull down face was just swinging free the next one they sent was exactly the same plus it was secondhand.So after reading the reviews on the Hoover hood and knowing the excellent service we have had in the past from AO decided to go with this one and absolutely brilliant, more than happy with it."
