"Overall the the cooker is ok, although a little pricey for what you get. The swing door hinges are not adequate in my view to carry the heavy double glazed main oven door over the long term. The internal shelving and side frames are also flimsy and not a patch on my old Canon cooker. Likewise the spring loaded hinges that support the glass cover are not well designed to operate properly and safely to carry the weight with such a long lever arm. I always look to German made products first before looking closer to home. I would have bought a Miele free standing cooker if they made them. You might pay a bit more but the quality is so much better and nobody comes close in the domestic market. You may have gathered I am getting-on in years and in this time I have seen much change, not always for the better. To finish I bought a Stove cooker because they seem to be the best in GB and I paid the extra for this reason. Some of the many products that are marketed today are just not the ticket and designed and made with only a profit motive in mind. "

"Compared with my previous Cannon by Hotpoint cooker, this cooker exudes quality and is reflected in the cost. The only puzzle is the grill pan handle which seems to be from another device but is correct. I couldn't find a way to fit it so used the handle from my Hotpoint cooker!
I am very pleased with it's looks and performance and it should give me many years of service."

"Oh my goodness this is the best cooker I've had in years. The last three cookers I've had have been really flimsy, either the pan holders have been slidey or they've generally been badly designed.
My new Stoves cooker is absolutely brilliant. I love it.
There isn't anything bad I can say , it looks great, it cooks great. I'm of the older generation so I can remember when things were well made, this Stoves Sterling comes up to every expectation we should expect.
Love love love it."
