The industry has a labelling scheme designed to offer a standardised method of choosing the most energy efficient appliances. The energy efficiency class is graded A to G. ‘A’ being the most efficient and ‘G’ the least efficient, but you may find some appliances have been graded A+, this has been unofficially assigned by the manufacturer to show that they have exceeded the highest requirements.
